Happy 3rd birthday to Maddoc, a superhero cake for a super little boy!! This cake is a chocolate cake covered with all fondant decorations. His mom, Donna, asked me to make this cake that someone else made with all these superheros on it. Spiderman sits on top, and on the sides are Captain America, Iron Man, The Hulk, Superman, and Batman at the belt around the bottom of the cake! I got to use a lot of practice with my freehand knife cutting to make the Iron Man, Batman, and Superman logos. I used an edible black marker to draw in the Spiderman's webs on his face as well. It was a lot of fun seeing this cake come together, and I have to give major thanks and props to my husband, Khoa, for helping me make all the colors and rolling out all the fondant for this project!
